The Kerala police detained three individuals who were connected to Tamil Rockers in March 2008. These arrests were conducted by the police in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu.

A police investigation into the accused’s bank activities, according to one media report, showed that they must have made more than Rs 1 crore from the illegal website.

Does Tamil Rockers exist today?

If claims are to be believed, the website is no longer active. They allegedly stopped doing business in 2020. Another piracy website, Tamil MV, sent a message, “Thanks to TR for his wonderful services for a decade! — from team TMV (The site was shut down by themselves, nothing more than that).

However, there are still mirror websites and clone websites online. Only a few days after their debut, the newest movies and web series are frequently pirated online.
